In all reality not everyone that goes to medical school follows the same trajectory meaning they don't go directly to high school then directly to university and then directly to medical school. Adam you sound like a spoiled kid and perhaps that is why a lot of medical schools are accepting older students in their late twenties because boys like you couldn't possibly talk to a real life human being aka patient. You might very well be an excellent doctor and by that I mean technician but you may very well be a sorry excuse for a physician. The fact that many non-traditional students are entering medical school, many of them women, is why the question of if and when to become pregnant during medical school becomes relevant. If you don't want to have children just yet or at all that is your choice. My partner and I are both 27 and I am entering this fall into medical school. If we wait to have a baby until after I finish residency it will be much more difficult to conceive and I don't want to have children at that age. As far as getting into medical school at the age of 27 it is not because I lacked drive, desire, talent, or skill it is because most likely unlike you I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth and my path to medical school was a lot more bumpy then you and many of my younger colleagues. So please grow up a little and take into account that not everyone has had your same experience - I thought that was what part of being a physician is, the ability to understand many elements that contribute to a situation/disease/etc. Like some said in an earlier post, I hope I never have a doctor like you but unfortunately you are the norm not the exception.

Because this is an english speaking medical site I've gone ahead and used google translate to translate the above comment from spanish to english:

"Hell, it may not be possible to speak well of your ability, like a weight, yes, we know that a career in medicine (took the title just because it is popular) is somewhat heavy, but please, if you really love and you do not have that passion Andarto distracting with colleagues, I know it can happen once or twice but as it seems to be frequently mention, on the other hand I am surprised that you being a medical student not you dare write a vagina or have to explain that babies do not come back when it's in matter of fact we all know and we also know that when we call them "panzonas" is not because the baby grows in your stomach. God, and not left to amaze me how stupid it is the people. Anyway, I feel even more regrettable that you do not have to distinguish the noséque overweight with a pregnancy, then I imagine that neither of symptoms of hypertension know ..."

Pregnancy is not a walk in the park, that's for sure. But it's not God-awful for all women either. I have given birth to two of my own children, and am now pregnant with a surrogate child for another couple. Yes, it's uncomfortable at times. Yes, childbirth is extremely painful. But the beauty of it is immeasurable... and I am genuinely happy to do it for those who can not.

By the way, that is a dumb picture.
