I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding ng with Stress in Medical School | The Rejected | Where Real Life Meets Medicine, but it's just my opinion, which could be wrong :)

Ummm, I don't know if I do anything. I have my regular TV shows that I obsess over and those help me take my mind off things. Except sometimes my studies are centered around my tv schedule which is probably a bad thing, but probably a necessary one. Fall semester could be rough because LOST and BSG aren't back until 2008. Well I guess there is still Grey's Anatomy, ER and Brothers and Sisters to hold me over

Oddly enough I do clean quite a bit when I'm under stress.. that and lash out at people! Sorry. Basically I try to find new ways to put off opening a book... but the act of doing that is stressful in itself.

Well, the right hand is a start. You could get the left hand into action for a bit too.

I actually do Yoga. And while I don't usually take the time to do a long practice session every day, I try and do a 10 minute sun-salutation every morning. It's energizing, surprisingly difficult, and usually keeps me awake through the first half of my first class.

I try and go swimming a couple times a week, and when the semester is in session, I go kayaking a couple times a week. For special occasions, I go diving.

Eating and cooking relaxes me, so when I'm really stressed, I bake a cake, or throw some custard in the oven.

And when all else fails, there's always the right hand...
