I also had been instructed by my university to buy a stethoscope at the very beginning of the school. I find that it is just a whoop since we will be only using it during our second year when we start doing our clinical skills thing. You know why? They want the students buy from THEM so that they can gain more money! And they make it such a way that we can’t buy it anywhere else except from them. What a whoop!
